Parent TREK (Transition Readiness for Entry to Kindergarten) is designed to support parents in navigating the transition from early intervention into the education system. Parent TREK will provide families with the knowledge and strategies to advocate and make the most informed choices for their child. Transition resources will include topics such as navigating school systems, explore educational options, considerations for classroom placement, language development in English and ASL, learn about Individual Education Plans and meet other students, community resources and staff working in the education system ! Parent TREK runs monthly beginning in the fall, the year before your child starts Kindergarten. |
